We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, firm name, and team member details. When you connect QuickBooks Online, we access financial data (chart of accounts, transactions, reports) as authorized by you through Intuit's OAuth flow.
We use your information to provide the Service, including generating financial reviews, managing close processes, and creating presentations. AI-powered features process your financial data to generate insights and write-ups; this data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) under a data processing agreement and is not used to train models.
All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Authentication tokens are stored in HttpOnly, Secure cookies. We maintain audit logs of all data access as part of our internal security controls. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Financial data accessed through QuickBooks Online is used solely to provide the Service. We do not store raw QBO credentials; OAuth tokens are encrypted and can be revoked at any time through your QBO settings or Thesis's integration settings.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for audit purposes.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time, which immediately revokes our access to your financial data.
